Taman Bacaan Danarto at Jendela Institute

The first iteration of “Taman Bacaan Danarto”, held at Jendela Institute, Yogyakarta, December 2021.

At that time, we have just started researching and archiving Danarto’s work intensely for 1 and a half year, and continuously working to expand the conversation around his work. Taman Bacaan Danarto is a collective effort to explore the richness of Danarto’s artistic practice, archive and disseminate it as knowledge that is relevant to artistic practice and life today.
